We are pleased to announce that we have started
development of our new bar, restaurant and function room which will be opening sometime in
2009. It will be larger enough to be a venue for Parties, Small weddings, Meetings and
events. All enquiries to Steve regarding this project.

Cliff House Holiday Park 2007
18th August 2007 the Cliff House Golf Day 2 was
a great success and well attended. Well done to all!!
Every Tuesday during August we had a Karoke
competition in the bar £40 first prize and £10 second prize! All competitions were
really well attended with some superb singers well done all those who took part!
Our charity auction was on the Sunday of the
August Bank Holiday. We had loads of superb lots with monies raised going to the Air
Ambulance and 1 other charity. We raised a total of £2800 including a top up from Cliff
House, £2100 went to the Air Ambulance and £700 went to Connect.
Des Johnson won a Fishing Trophy so well done
Des! Thank you to Brian Starling for organising all the fishing competitions.
Over Easter we had a disco in the Bar on
Saturday Night and on Sunday night the return of Steve Moyse singing both nights proved
extremely popular. The Raffle organised by Brian Starling was won by.... Brian Starling!!
He has taken plenty of ribbing about this and he won a fishing rod and reel. £145 was
raised for Brians chosen charity on this night.
Last year we raised just under £4000 for our
chosen charities. £3000 went to the air ambulance and the remainder went to Suffolk
Carers. Thank you for all your hard work in raising monies.
Mo, the partner of Timothy Hay MD had a baby on
18th August so congratulations from all here!.
The Cliff House Golf day is to held every year
on the Saturday before the Bank Holiday, all those wishing to enter please write you name
up on the board in the bar. Thorpeness is the venue with prizes for best stapleford score,
nearest the pin, longest drive and team scores prizes being provided by Cliff House.
Over the Bank Holiday we held a Lodge Exibition
so we thank all those who came and took their time to have a look.... hopefully we may
have tempted you!
